ITT: We totally muffinate someone, and lynch someone else.
Do we want to try for blizzire again, or maybe pakrat?
Is it time to kill MbM, or muffinate someone else in hopes of burning off a couple more one-shot protections?

I'm sort of thinking that the Janitor role is a bit overpowered...
But, too late to change that.

I think RP managed to steal blizzire's role, so we should know whether the cookies/drugs are enough of a threat to kill him off.

I think we should off DLR. He's urging me to claim coroner, which I'm not. I've told him I'm not, and he doesn't believe me.
It's weird.
Blizzire would also be a good idea. He's just too smug with these cookies.
I think MBM is sure to be protected. We probably want to off her sometime, but I dunno... just not too comfortable doing so.

If there's a protection ability, I'm fairly sure that it's either on Blizzire (if he managed to gain such a person's trust, directly or indirectly) or, more likely, MbM.
In any case, I'm thinking it's a bit too risky right now.

I dunno, we might need to bite the bullet and do it now before MBM writes up a list for us to vote down. I have a feeling despite warnings roled innocents are choosing to trust her.
I've confirmed to her I have no night actions, since I don't.

I think you may be right. She's already being considered a cleared innocent - it will only serve to remove what little doubt remains as to her affiliation and remove any doubt of ours as to whether or not a doctor or HWOL exists.

Hmm.
So basically the cookie role works like this. Every day you can send 3 cookies to people.
The cookies are a speech impediment, that get progressively worse.
I gave cookies to Blizzire (hehe), Wavedash, and OMGLOLZORS

I wonder if a HWOL will specifically kill metacom, or a random muffin.
It'd be nice if we could somehow make it guaranteed to off me.

Just as a side-note: This game is really interesting because it reminds me so much of spore. Apparently people didn't learn from it at all.

I'm assuming you mean the muffin leading the innocents around by their noses.
Any time the game witholds sufficient info from the innocents and sufficiently skilled players are the muffin, this is what happens. They never learn.
I think the Janitor role is several scales above in terms of power than the other roles the muffin have. That being said, I'm not sure its too good, really, because the innocents SEEM to be forming a coalition, and if so, we're gonna need all the help we get soon if they enforce voting down a list.

Everybody is just voting Wavedash without thinking. It's actually pretty funny. I expect MBM to come around late in the day and be like, "Wavedash roleclaimed, leave him alone!" and nobody will be around to change their votes.

Post by tso on Oct 11, 2009 15:38:05 GMT -5
This is the last day I'm voting for him. I can't really keep using the same justifications each day and I'm starting to reach just a bit, so if he doesn't get popped today, I'm fairly sure I can't get away with it again. Hell, I already look like I'm on a witch hunt against him.
In any case, you're right ToS - we've got two sheeps voting for him, me using recycled reasoning, and you being somewhat vague in the reasoning. It feels like no one's really paying attention, but that's likely to change as we approach night (if the past couple of days are any indication). We're a bit too far to have another inactive voting block on him.

I love how everyone trusts me implicitly.
From our beloved friend Jarmo:
Ugh, if you're muffin I'm fucked, but here it is.
I'm the janitor. Kind of. It's a bit of a side affect I didn't expect. See, if I vote for the person that gets lynched, I gain their ability. Aeon decided to add in the janitor portion on his own without telling me. I suppose it makes sense because I steal the ability and therefore it can't exactly be made public.
If you notice, day 1, I voted for MMA, who claims he had the cage ability. That night, there was no cage acton. Night 2 (after I gained his role) YOU were caged, hence the reason I asked if you know anyone with night actions. I can confirm you attempted to do nothing last night.
Like I said, if you're muffin, I'm fucked because I'm going to die. lol.
